FANS CAN HELP SELECT PITTSBURGH PENGUINS ALL-TIME TEAM

Trib Total Media, Penguins To Create

Interactive All-Time Team Display At Consol Energy Center

Fans can help select the Pittsburgh Penguins All-Time Team in balloting that begins Saturday, March 27 in Trib Total Media newspapers.

The Penguins All-Time Team will be featured in Trib Total Media’s dynamic, interactive permanent exhibit inside the northwest lobby entrance at the new Consol Energy Center. Trib Total Media is a founding partner of the new arena.

Fans will be asked to vote for 15 players from a group of 25 nominees, with write-in votes also accepted. Active NHL players are not eligible.

The Trib Total Media Penguins All-Time Team Zone will include state-of-the-art interactive touch screen panels that will enable fans to view biographies, statistics, photos, videos and much more. Also honored in the exhibit will be prominent coaches, executives, employees and great moments from throughout Penguins history.

All fans who vote will be entered for a chance to attend the All-Time Team Zone ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening gala.

Official ballots can be found in Trib Total Media daily newspapers on Penguins game days from March 27-April 18. Additional information, including full contest information, player biographies, statistics and more can be found online starting Saturday at contests.tribLIVE.com.

A panel of media members and club officials also will vote.

  1. Will there be a way Pens fans from other places can vote? I live in Oklahoma, so I don’t get the Trip Total Media newspapers, and I won’t be attending a game any time soon (unfortunatly), but I’d love to vote for players from my favorite team.
    GO PENS!

  2. Susan,

I emailed my contact with the team to see what the deal was… this was the response…

“Unfortunately, you need to purchase the paper in order to vote.”

I will post the list of 25 when it becomes available this Saturday…you can vote for you 15 and I would be glad to submit them for you!
