Geno Does a Flip Commercial…
Geno Machino recently did a commercial for the people at Flip Cam…
Nice to see that Winter has officially set in here in Pittsburgh… I swear, it has gotten colder by the day over the past two weeks. I guess that is a good thing, considering I was having some weather concerns about the Winter Classic. Late December/early January in Pittsburgh isn’t always very winter-like and that could have been problematic for the events next week…
Anyway, I am not here this morning to give you a meteorological report… I am here to drop the new Flip Cam commercial that Geno Machino recently did. I actually stumbled across this on FrankD’s Twitter feed over at PensBurgh. Apparently he was lucky enough to receive a free NHL Flip Cam from the company when they launched last month — and apparently I was on the pay no mind list for that… hint, hint… but that is neither here nor there. The important thing is this glorious commercial that Geno Malkin did for the product…
It is great to see a company utilize Malkin in this way… hopefully it is a sign of things to come for him. Though it doesn’t often come across, he is very charismatic, funny and entertaining. He just doesn’t often show off that side, but he is getting more and more comfortable in that role…
Stay tuned for more as the day rolls along and we get ready for the Phoenix Coyotes at the CONSOL Energy Center this evening.
