Kids may “Try Hockey Free” at the Winter Classic Community Rink…
More info continues to roll in regarding events that will be surrounding the Winter Classic and I just got this update on a great one for parents who would like to see if their child is interested in hockey!
Sixty children ages 4-9 will be able to “Try Hockey For Free,” at a special clinic Thursday, Dec. 30 at the Winter Classic Community Rink at Stage AE.
The clinic – courtesy of the Pittsburgh Penguins, USA Hockey and the NHL – will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 12:50 p.m. It is designed for youngsters interested in trying hockey for the first time.
Children must be registered to participate. Families may register their children now at http://www.usahockey.com/tryhockeypittsburgh/
USA Hockey will provide free trial equipment for all participants. Rental skates will be available for free courtesy of Rink Specialists.
