There are certain traditions that have developed around the Penguins and their fans and during these spring time crusades through the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Big Screen, the Tailgate on the Terrace and the “whiteout” will all be in place for tomorrow’s game five at Mellon Arena.
First off, the Penguins are calling for another “whiteout” and each fan will be given a white t-shirt courtesy of Trib Total Media and a white rally towel compliments of Dairy Queen.
Fans arriving early, who have tickets to the game, can also attend the “Tailgate on the Terrace,” a special open air tailgate event in which Aramark will be selling food and beverages and live entertainment will be provided.
Fans can have their tickets scanned before entering the Terrace for the event and then enter the Arena from in the tailgate beginning at 6:00pm. Will call will open at 5:00pm to accommodate fans who will be attending the event.
If you do not have a ticket to the game, the team encourages you to watch on the Big Screen located at gate three. The screen is being provided courtesy of Consol Energy and Trib Total Media. As usual, grills and alcohol are prohibited.
