Repost: GVB Goes One on One with Ray Shero…
Our friend George Von Benko sits down with Penguins General Manager Ray Shero…
I posted this a couple of weeks back, but it was late on a Sunday night and I am not certain that you guys got to check it out. So I decided to post it again.
Our friend George Von Benko conducts a yearly interview with Penguins General Manager Ray Shero and he was nice enough to pass it on to us. This interview was conducted at the end of the regular season right before the playoffs were set to begin. George and Ray discuss everything from the way the team was playing down the stretch, his trade deadline acquisitions, and even the fact that Shero grew up around the Philadelphia Flyers while his father was the team’s head coach.
If you already heard this, stay tuned for a new blog shortly…if you didn’t, please give it a listen as it is a great interview…
** George Von Benko is in his third stint as color commentator for the Duquesne Dukes Basketball program and hosts a weekly sports talk show on WMBS Radio in Uniontown (AM 590) that airs every Saturday from 10:15 to 12:00 noon.
