Can the Penguins Win the Atlantic After Going 0-6 Against New Jersey?
The Penguins came out of the gates strong and looked like the better team for the first 10 minutes of the game. They were skating hard, making skate to skate passes and shooting the puck from all over the ice.
Evgeni Malkin tested his injured foot this morning in New Jersey. He was accompanied by trainer Chris Stewart as he took a light skate before the rest of the team hit the ice for practice. Though is doesn’t look great, no official word on his availability for this evening’s game is yet available.
Well, I am making some progress, the morning links may actually make up in the morning today! That is saying something, especially considering the fact that the clocks sprung forward last night robbing an hour of sleep.
The irritation that they are filled with today stems from the fact that they have gone 168:28 without scoring a goal against the Devils.
Though it is a gloomy morning here in Pittsburgh, with flood warnings around every corner, it is FRIDAY!
