As I mentioned earlier, I have partnered up with veteran Pittsburgh Sports reporter George Von Benko to provide even more Penguins and Pittsburgh Sports coverage for you. George has long been the color commentator of the Duquesne Dukes Basketball program and hosts a weekly sports talk show on WMBS Radio in Uniontown (AM 590) that airs on Saturdays from 10:15 to 12:00 noon.
George’s longevity gives him a unique perspective and most of the characters in the Pittsburgh sports scene give him a better interview than the average reporter would get because they have known him for so many years.
