Thoughts, observations and statistics from the Penguins’ victory over the Flyers on Saturday afternoon.
The Penguins came out of the gates strong and looked like the better team for the first 10 minutes of the game. They were skating hard, making skate to skate passes and shooting the puck from all over the ice.
The irritation that they are filled with today stems from the fact that they have gone 168:28 without scoring a goal against the Devils.
