Multiple outlets are reporting that Matt Cooke has inked a 3-year pact to stay with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Penguins will be together as a team one final time this morning at Mellon Arena. The team will be gathering their personal effects, breaking down their lockers and heading their separate ways for the off-season.

I can’t stand early games on the weekend. Sure it frees you up for the rest of the day, but I would much prefer to sloth around the house, drink some coffee and get some work done before heading to a 7:00pm game. Unfortunately these days that are broken up with an early game do not allow that to happen.
