Another March Madness; Morning Pens Links…
March Madness is upon us, or should I say March Mania since I didn’t pay for the right to say Madness?
Hm, I guess I will change it when the cease and desist letter shows up.

The Penguins came out of the gates strong and looked like the better team for the first 10 minutes of the game. They were skating hard, making skate to skate passes and shooting the puck from all over the ice.
Evgeni Malkin tested his injured foot this morning in New Jersey. He was accompanied by trainer Chris Stewart as he took a light skate before the rest of the team hit the ice for practice. Though is doesn’t look great, no official word on his availability for this evening’s game is yet available.
Top O’ the morning to you and Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I realize that it seems like we have been living in a green tinted world for the better part of a week, but today happens to be the actual day in which the Irish folk and the not so Irish folk celebrate the feast of St. Patrick.
For the average American worker that is being paid $35,000 dollars a year, $1,000 dollars may seem like a lot of money. It is probably your mortgage payment, home improvement loan or debt reduction payment. However, for some who make… let’s just say… $600,000 dollars, $1,000 is a drop in the bucket.
Rumor had it that spring was on the horizon and if the chilly morning is any indication, it is just a rumor.
However a seasonal change does appear to be imminent but I am only willing to give spring’s arrival a “M3” on the Metzer scale.
Catch me this evening as I hop on board with the guys at “Preds On The Glass.” We will be discussing a variety of topics including the Penguins, Predators, NHL’s questionable incidents and much more.
The Penguins can breathe a collective sigh of relief. They dodged one bullet when Sidney Crosby was not injured in an awkward fall with the Lightning’s Steve Downie and might have dodged another with Evgeni Malkin.
The Penguins made a couple signings during the morning hours of July 1, 2008. One thrilled the masses, while the other was greeted with mocks and jeers.
Monday…blah!
That is pretty much the feeling on this end. How about you guys? Hopefully you all made it through a rather debaucherous weekend here in Pittsburgh, or wherever you might hail from.
